Here's a picture from the Bodies Exhibit. I would have to agree with Bella. It's not something I'd want to see.

This is Bella's saloon girl costume.

This is Bella's lingerie that she fought Alice about.

This is Ben's devil costume.

This is Angela's angel costume. Not very innocent if you ask me. ;)

This is Alice's lingerie. The woman in the picture just creeps me out.

This is Emmett's costume. I picture it without the long-sleeve shirt and gray thingy around his neck.

This is Rosalie's costume, and it's my favorite.

This is Rosalie's lingerie. Remember, she couldn't wear the top, just the underwear.

This is a picture of the bloody brain shots.
1 1/4 oz. strawberry vodka such as Stoli1/8 oz. Rose's lime juice3/4 oz. Bailey's Irish CreamSplash of grenadine
Preparation:
Chill vodka for better smoothness. Add vodka and lime juice to a shaker, shake and strain into a shot glass. Using a straw, dip some Bailey's Irish Cream into the shot. Once you submerge the straw into the Bailey's put your finger on top of the straw to hold the Bailey's in the straw. Dip the straw tip into the vodka and slowly release your top finger. The Bailey's will curdle a little bit due to the lime juice and you should be able to make strands of Bailey's.
Repeat the straw/Bailey's process to build a "brain" in the shot glass. Add a splash of grenadine to the concoction to add the 'blood' to the mix. Down the hatch as a shot.

I went whitewater rafting while in Durango two summers ago. It was a great experience, and if I had enough money, I'd be goinng more often. It was great. Mild 2 Wild is the company we went through. The part of the story about the guide being thrown to the front of the boat is true. That happen in my raft. For more information on the company you can visit their website at http://www.mild2wildrafting.com/.

Trimble Spa and Natural Hot Springs is in Durango. We went there for a massage after our day on the river. It was heavenly. For more information on the Spa you can visit their website at http://www.trimblehotsprings.com/spa.html.

Beau Jo's is an actual place in Durango. We ate there once, loved it so much, and went back a second time. For more information on the restaurant you can visit their website at http://www.beaujosdurango.com/display/Home.asp?NAVID=37.

We didn't actually eat at The Palace because it was expensive, but it's there. It's right on the square, a very quaint part of town. For more information on the restaurant you can visit their website at http://www.palacedurango.com/index.php.

Gradual Healing 28: Progress Part 1

Following is the poem Jasper whispered to Alice in the rose garden.

Destiny

Somewhere there waiteth in this world of ours
For one lone soul another lonely soul
Each choosing each through all the weary hours
And meeting strangely at one sudden goal.
Then blend they, like green leaves with golden flowers,
Into one beautiful and perfect whole;
And life's long night is ended, and the way
Lies open onward to eternal day.

~ Edwin Arnold

Gradual Healing: 25 Reactions

This is the sunset I pictured when writing this chapter. I took a roadtrip with five friends over New Year's. We drove to Colorado (I'm from Texas so it was a bit of a drive), rented a secluded cabin in the mountains, and this is one of the sunsets I watched. It. Was. Absolutely. Gorgeous.

This is Edward's bedroom suit. Picture it with forest green comforter with crème pillows.

Gradual Healing 24: Forks

Here are pictures of the Cullen house. It's not that I didn't like the first; I just didn't picture it as the right one. I really liked the idea of a log cabin, because the house is set back in the woods with a stream behind. It just seemed to fit better.

This is the exterior from the backyard. It was much prettier than the front. Remember Esme has gardens in the back so try to imagine them a little closer to water just in front of the big tree.

This is the Great Room, what you see when you first walk through the front door. The only difference is that the wall of windows would be behind the piano instead of on the side.

This is the kitchen. One of my passions is cooking, so trust me when I say I searched long and hard for the perfect one. I think it's gorgeous. I like that it's modern, but you still have the log cabin feel with the ceiling. I want this.

This is the dining room. I loved how open the room seemed with all the windows, and the fireplace is gorgeous. I see great potential for this place later on in the story. :)

This is Carlisle and Esme's room on the first floor. I really liked the reading area built into the side wall. Again, I like the modern look with the hint of log cabin with the ceiling.

This is a 2nd floor guest room where Rosalie is staying. I think this is my second favorite bedroom of all that are int he house. It's just so cozy.

This is another guest room on the second floor where Jasper and Alice are staying. It is a room with one of the four balconies. I loved the whimsical feel the archway with hidden bed put off. Imagine the balcony is on the wall with the bed, not the one to the right of this picture.

This is Emmett's room on the second floor. His room also has a balcony. I liked this for him because everything seemed so big. I also wanted to put a fireplace in his room. It has potential. :)

This is the 3rd floor guest room that no one is staying in during this trip. I'm taking huge creative license and hoping you'll just go along with my delusion that this has a semi-loft even though there's not room for it to actually exist. This room also has a balcony, and the doors would be where the window is.

Last, but not least, is Edwdard's room. Third floor, like canon, and it's the last of the rooms to have a balcony. I love, love, love this room. I am a fan of the shape of the room. I like that it's not just a square room. It has character. Again, there's a fire place. ;)
